Small Town Hero Award
Awarded to a Nordonia Hills resident or business person who has demonstrated leadership in community projects and organizations and is involved in the betterment of the community through active civic participation.

Small Business of the Year
Presented to recognize the important role of small businesses in the community.  The nominee must employ less than 25 persons, contribute a significant amount of time to the community, show leadership within the business community, practice proper business ethics and be a member in good standing of the NHCOC.


NOMINATION: How has this organization, group, business or individual made Nordonia Hills a better place to live and work? Please attach a statement of 250 words or less.

  • ALL nominations must be delivered to the NHCOC office or postmarked no later than April 19. 
  • The 2010 NHCOC Annual Award winners will be invited guests to the May 13 Luncheon meeting.
  • If a group, business or organization is the winner, one representative will be our guest.
  • The recipient will be announced prior to the awarding of the plaque.
